R.I.P. Pete Seeger

Thank you, Pete. You taught us to sing (“If I had a hammer”), to rejoice, cry and reflect (“Turn Turn Turn”). You led us in searching for peace (“Where have all the flowers gone?”) and an end to war (“Bring ’em home”).

It’s hard to keep the tears back. Pete and his songs meant and continue to mean so much. Simple words, profound thoughts.

We shall overcome.
